I took the title of my thesis from J. A. Comenius’s book General Consultation on an Improvement of All Things Human. According to Comenius, the physical world is shaped by three mutually interrelated principles: matter, spirit and light. I have been interested in the subject of matter in various changing ways in a long time. I am primarily interested in all that is related to the creation, growth, cycle, and composition of matter in its elementary form. I study microstructures and the inner arrangement of organisms and substances, as well as the principles of acquiring and reproducing plants, animals and minerals. Subsequently, I use my work to copy the creative processes found in nature. I try to look at the subject from various angles – from the viewpoints of science, philosophy, theology, and a layperson, or also subjectively. I also draw inspiration from religious architecture and folk art.
