We always start with a plan, even at the risk that we don’t fulfil its goals.
Our plan may even be that we consciously don’t have one.
To be pragmatic and rational without panic fear that we might lose our authenticity.
Pretty can be clever.
Tradition and experimentation in harmony.
To prefer well-thought-out content over fine-tuned form.
To approach the work before us concisely and in a comprehensibly verbal manner.
To take responsibility for our views.
To leave the depth of the work up to the viewer.
Not to nourish empty dialogue (or monologue). We want visible results.
To verify the validity of artistic ideas by presenting the completed work.
Optimism and a proper dose of scepticism are friends.
We try not to learn when it isn’t necessary.
